President Carter started scientific exchanges with China which has
resulted mutual benefit since 1979, thirty years ago to date. The National Science Foundation sponsored such exchanges for compiling a Directory for American scientists to contact Chinese scientists,published by Hoover Institution, Stanford University in 1971. I was invited as a compiler for such a project in 1965-1966 at Surveys and Research Corporation in Washington,D.C.
China's Vice President Xi Jinping visits Hungary's Bilingual school teaching Hungarian language and Chinese for future generati0ns apropos better understanding via language communication.
"A Glimpse of the Chinese Language" in English is designed to encourage such learning opportunities to benefit folks world-wide to study Pin Yin system of romanization as the first step to speak Chinese via phonetic equivalents.
